Have you seen the member riding with Fiesty the bear on the back of his bike? That's Lenton Stephens! (Fiesty is named after his late dog.)
The Stephens lived in Tampa from 1941 until 1999. He was a store manager for Pubix, but after 29 years he got tired, retired, and moved to Tallahassee with his wife, Leucretia. Their brood includes eight children and nineteen grandchildren! Lenton is the co owner of H & R Block offices in Bainbridge, Donaldsonville, and Blakely Ga. and equipment manager for Ecology and Environment Inc. in Tallahassee.
In his 12 years of riding, Lenton has owned a Kawasaki. 400, Yamaha 650, 1982 Honda Gold Wing 1100 Aspencade, and the 1999 Gold Wing SE he now rides. Last August he picked up the new 1999 SE in Corinth, Ms. On their way home from New Orleans he rode to Blakely, Ga. Friday night and on to Tallahassee on Saturday. Then Sunday morning they rode to Tampa for a Bucs football game and back home again Sunday. They had a ball; Leucretia followed him and they were able to keep in touch by CB.
Lenton loves any country road, especially canopy roads. He says the best thing about Chapter FL1-A2 is the like minded friendly people!
